I began to draw at the age of 2 and as Art was my major interest I won two Art competitions at the Secondary school, De La Salle College.
I helped in designing two art play scenes at school talent shows. At the same time I started to play the piano, even began to compose my own music.
Around the age of 6 I began my music studies at the Saint Monica School of Mosta and since then I wanted to take music and Art seriously. I love to listen to classical music and I began to read about the composer's lives and the historicity around them and their works.
As years gone by as a pianist and with the help of my teacher Sr. Beniamina Portelli, I started to perform even my own compositions.
At the age of sixteen I entered the Saint Monica Choir and began my choral singing career. Since then I have started to compose my own choral pieces and some of them were also performed at various concerts. Throughout my 29 years of choral singing I also sang with various choirs, some of which are; Collegium Musicum, Voices, Mirabitur Choir and the Goldberg Ensemble.
As from 2007 I was initiated by a colleague and local band master with composing pieces for the concert band. My first pieces being with the marching bands and also played the piano with the band club. During that time I started to write the programme notes of various band clubs.
I am a voracious reader, and some of my favourite books include that of the classics, Court and Crime; including forensic science, Art and Music History, biographical, Ancient studies (incl. Archaeology and Biblical archaeology), and also Maltese History and Folklore.
