I provided students with tailored support to enhance their understanding of lessons while promoting independence. I adapted and modified lesson plans to meet individual learning needs, ensuring an inclusive and engaging educational experience. Additionally, I assisted with classroom activities, reinforced key concepts, and worked closely with teachers to create a supportive learning environment.

As a supply learning support educator, I assisted students in understanding lessons and meeting their individual learning needs. I focused on providing guidance while encouraging independence, allowing each child to develop at their own pace. I also adapted and modified lessons to suit the specific requirements of the students I supported throughout the school year.

I worked in the pathology department at Mater Dei Hospital, handling administrative tasks, labeling blood samples, assisting with COVID-19 registrations, and supporting clients at the reception window. This role strengthened my teamwork skills and gave me hands-on experience in sample testing. I also had the opportunity to study at the Reference Lab, where I gained knowledge of international testing methods and laboratory best practices.

I provided young children with temporary, safe supervision and care in a nurturing environment. My responsibilities included engaging children in age-appropriate play activities, planning simple educational lessons, organizing excursions, and teaching fundamental social skills such as self-control and hygiene. I ensured that each child felt supported and encouraged in their early learning and development.

Throughout this role, I gained valuable insights into my strengths, including my ability to work well with others, maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate strong leadership skills. This experience also enhanced my patience, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities, which are essential for fostering a supportive and enriching environment for young children.

During the summer, I taught toddlers at a school in Valletta while working with FES. I learned the importance of adapting activities to suit each child’s unique needs, ensuring they stayed motivated and engaged in learning. This experience strengthened my teamwork skills and enhanced my ability to create diverse, age-appropriate activities daily.
