I worked directly under safety coordinators to insure proper safety protocols were followed as we worked with highly combustible material, concentrated chemicals, and we're often on boats on flooded rivers and aquatic environments. While at Hulls we also completed turn arounds for various refineries and I became very familiar with refinery safety and gained experience in working safely in dangerous environments.
