As a solo musician, I have a penchant for instrumental and emotive compositions; lived or imagined experiences as well as borrowed stories from dreams which I interpret into my compositions
I started my musical journey at the age of 14, playing guitar in rock bands. Due to the ever-growing populace of guitarists, switching my attention to the bass opened more doors for me to play in bands. That became my instrument of choice and there was no looking back.
Being active with several groups that span myriad styles – from metal to classic and everything in between – allowed me to develop a range as well as a style of playing which lent itself well to my interest for various genres.
Rock, classical, fusion, and blues guitar inspired a refined sense of melody, harmony, and phrasing. Finger playing and two-handed tapping technique also gave a new dimension in tone and quality of sound to the overall feel of my playing.
Both a songwriter as well as performer, I am a multi-instrumentalist who has written music in several genres. I have an incessant fascination for developing additional creative skills, which also extends to learning how to play new instruments. Successful at learning new musical pieces quickly and accurately to maximize contribution to group success. Hardworking and diligent with good understanding of time and rhythm. Talented Musician with expertise in multiple instruments and 40 years of experience. Selects music, coordinates practices and maintains equipment in good working order. Superb memorization and improvisational skills.
