- Moving into account management has been one of the most rewarding decisions of my career. The role placed me at the center of a wider network, managing clients, attending events, and building relationships and quickly confirmed that this was where I thrive.
- While challenging at times, the transition felt natural. Rather than working within a single department, I now collaborate across the business, partnering with finance, legal, and compliance teams while playing a key role in driving revenue.
- I often describe account management as being in touch with the core and the heart of the business. Beyond the day-to-day operational tasks, what I value most is the relationship-building aspect of the role, which comes very naturally to me.
- Combined with my finance background, this gives me a strong foundation and the confidence to take on new challenges ahead.

- I then took on a new opportunity on the aggregator side of the business, which proved to be a very different environment. From a finance perspective, my focus shifted away from solely revenue and more towards the core procedures involved in month-end close, giving me a comprehensive overview of the accounting cycle and the processes carried out on a monthly basis.
- The most rewarding challenge in this role was managing a small remote team based outside of Malta. As a naturally extroverted person, I embraced the opportunity to lead and connect with the team, and it became a valuable learning experience - particularly in adapting my communication and management style to different cultures.

Sports has always been a very big part of my life. From when I was a kid I used to try every sport possible under the sun. Waterpolo and swimming were my main sports throughout my childhood which kept me very busy and mentally resilient throughout the various challenges faced. Today this has translated into sports still being a very big part of my daily routine. Now converting my swimming mindset into running. I take part in several type of trail running competitions worldwide and also compete in Hyrox which is a hybrid running race. The competitive element is very important in my daily personal life and converted also as an essential part of my professional life.
