Summary
I have been working since I was 16 and have a broad knowledge and awareness of the world of work. This has presented the opportunity to work side by side and meet a wide spectrum of people. This allows me to have a strong sense of the audience I need to communicate with. Add to this nine years of experience in Communications & PR and 10 years of teaching, backed by Psychology I have gained extensive knowledge of people management, conflict resolution and adaptability to people and situations.
I have a history of building effective working relationships with media which I have drawn on till today and with various stakeholders. In my current position some key achievements have been transforming our Annual Report, anew website and to develop our branding. Regular proof reading of our material has led to a level of knowledge beyond what I thought possible.
I believe I have proven to be hardworking and determined and will try to find solutions and ways to work around difficult situations and to think outside the box. The ability to find passion for everything I do is I believe one of my strongest qualities.

- My current position within the FIAU was a newly created post arising from the changing role of the entity
- Thus, I have been in the position to build the role from scratch and work towards building a media strategy to suit their needs
- Produced and distributed internal and external communications, including the annual report, cash restriction campaign and career promotional material
- Supported our first ever international conference (EU-BAR)
- Wrote press releases for routine use.
- Oversaw social media presence and aligned posts to include branding and trending ideas.
- Assisted with the strategy development to increase public awareness and customer engagement.
- Through my involvement in the strategy I will be working wholeheartedly on the customer experience, a new perspective of how to deal with subject persons and stakeholders
- Helped with photo and video production by providing the vision and brief, reviewing and suggested edits.
- My role requires foresight, confidentiality, and sensitivity to the nature of the FIAU's work
