

Eman Borg is a human rights advocate, researcher and youth mobiliser. Holding a Bachelor with Honors degree in Social Policy from the University of Malta and an M.A. in International Sports and Events Management from the University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Berlin.
Eman was awarded the coveted Queen's Young Leaders Awards in 2017. He served as Secretary General of KNZ, and is the founder of LGBTI+ Gozo, having led the organisation from infancy to an established human right organisation.
Renowned for his project management expertise, Borg leadership as the founder of LGBTI+ Gozo and his role as the Secretary General of the National Youth Council of Malta have been marked by successful initiatives. His strategic approach has created impactful projects, including facilitating improved access to sexual health medical services in Gozo, spearheading the first-ever Gozo Pride March and launching Qawsalla Hub in Gozo.
He has also been a driving force in playing a pivotal role in the Maltese Parliament declaration of a State of Climate Emergency and leading the groundbreaking Sustainable Development Goals Youth Conference in Malta, a precursor to the SDG Champions (Malta).
In recent years he was appointed as Malta's first Commonwealth Youth Ambassador & Coordinator of CYGEN as part of the Royal Commonwealth Society.
As the Coordinator of the Commonwealth Youth Gender Equality Network (CYGEN), he manages a vibrant network of 240 youth gender champions from 40 Commonwealth countries, fostering collaboration across diverse cultural, social, and economic contexts.
His role involves facilitating effective communication and engagement among members, ensuring they are equipped with the tools, resources, and training necessary to drive impactful gender equality initiatives within their communities. By providing strategic direction and organizing capacity-building workshops, he empowers these champions to advocate for policy changes and implement local projects addressing pressing gender issues.
As a seasoned radio host and producer, he excel in the dynamic realm of media with a strong emphasis on project management. In this role, he oversee the entire lifecycle of radio productions, from conception to execution, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of high-quality content. Project management skills come to the forefront as he collaborate with diverse teams, including writers, technicians, and on-air talent, to bring compelling shows to fruition. From conceptualizing show themes to managing production timelines, his approach is grounded in strategic planning and efficient execution.
In addition to the creative aspects, he navigate the logistical intricacies of radio broadcasting, scheduling interviews, and managing resources to optimize efficiency. The ability to multitask and prioritize ensures that each project, whether it be a live broadcast or pre-recorded segment, meets its objectives while maintaining a high standard of quality.
