I am an avid music listener. I particularly enjoy rock music, reggae and alternative, non-commercial music. Going to music concerts and gigs is my idea of fun.
I enjoy being around friends and going out to different restaurant, mainly because I like trying new food and new cuisines.
Travelling has always been a huge passion, especially since it gives me the opportunity to learn new languages, experience new cultures and taste different cuisines.
I enjoy watching films mostly comedies and thrillers and I also enjoy visiting art exhibitions.
I also like painting, drawing and crocheting in my free time. Lastly, I am a book lover, and I am passionate about self-development and spirituality books.
Between 2009 and 2012, I worked as a youth leader for a group of fifteen teenagers within Żgħażagħ Azzjoni Kattolika. I have also been on project abroad, namely to Slovakia. In this project we discussed the challenges that Malta and Slovakia face in relation to problematic realities of both societies. Such realities include disability and racism. We suggested ways in which the society can improve behaviour and attitudes and how it can be inclusive of disadvantaged people.
During the same period, I also volunteered and helped people with physical disabilities to integrate in society and to keep living life despite its struggles. Together with the other members and volunteers, we used to come up with events. Mainly I helped out in carrying people using wheel chairs.
Between 2021 and 2022, I was Vice President of MIJARC Europe which is a subgroup of MIJARC World. MIJARC Europe is an non-profit youth organisation of and for young people in the rural world, with a Christian identity. Together with the other members of the committee, we established different projects to be carried out in different cities of Europe in order to teach about active citizenship, gender and sexuality, agriculture, amongst others.
