Washed, cut, peeled fruits and vegetables, cooked sauces soups and chilis. Grilled the containers of onions and bacon . Set up front end for line cooks. (cheeses, lettuce, peppers,onions, bacon, sauces)
Prepared the fresh meat into patties and made the vegetarian burgers.Cleaned the kitchen. Countertops, meat machine, swept and mopped floors, took out trash. Did some inventory for ordering. Sharpened knives. (At home 3 per night)Did dishwashing and some bussing.

It was a Japanese owned company. The belief was to be promoted, a person should do every job in each part of the company. Don't have to be expert at each job, just do them long enough to understand them.
I started out in delivery, learned the 175 places we delivered to every day and worked my way up from there.
I did every job from delivery, sorting, production in all three of our plants and worked in all three of our restaurants (Mostly take-out, though we had a few tables)
