I am an eighteen year old girl who is studying Law at university.
I coached kids from age 4 till age 13 and adjusted the sessions based on their skills and energy levels depending on the lesson they had before mine. Through this job I learnt patience, understanding and cooperation in order to make sure the children get the most out of each session while prioritizing their own fun.
The second year of the bootcamp enhanced the information I learnt in the prior year and gave me time to work on my weaknesses. Once again we came up with a concept as a team and presented it to a panel of judges which gave us second place.
Through my work experience at EY I learnt how to face personal and team related challenges. I learnt a variety of soft skills, including leadership which was exercised through my role as the leader of my group, which at the end of the bootcamp won with the idea of the app KelmaMaltija that aims to incorporate the Maltese language into our daily lives. The month long internship helped me understand business an marketing concepts further.
Working with this company has taught me various skills, both personal and work related. I know how to operate a cash register, manage reconciliations at the end of the day, understand customer needs and organize the store as how it is intended to be, furthermore, spot any items put in incorrect places. Social skills and patience were key factors within the job.
