Burger Master was owned and operated by my parents up until 2005 and ultimately had no choice but to sell the restaurant due to my dad having severe health issues that affected not only my dad but my mom as well because with my sister's helping out everyday after school often working until closing for the night to help my parents out while being freshman starting out working for my parents due to age regulations, my parents still needed more help and realized that with my older sister and I working to help as well it wasn't enough still so my parents sold the restaurant to a couple from Littleton Colorado in 2005 and in 2008 Burger Master closed it's doors for good. Upon working for my parents my sister and I started off as cashiers and customer service. We helped bag the food bring out customers orders in the lobby or drive through made drinks and milkshakes. Cleaned the restaurant and lobby filled condiments washed dishes helped take customers orders etc. As we got older my older sister and I were made evening supervisors by my parents to help elevate the stress off of them and give them a break. I worked for my parents as a freshman in highschool at the age of 15 and was granted a night time supervisor when I was 16. Being a night time restaurant supervisor came with a lot of responsibilities that my sister and I were already aware and prepared for having my parents own and operate the restaurant for as long as they did. As a evening supervisor the responsibilities came with making sure the customers got their orders and correct order on time making sure each station was keeping up and getting their products out on time making sure that the staff is following rules and keeping customers number one. Making sure that the restaurant was clean throughout the night even when it was time to close for the night. I was responsible for cleaning the milkshake machine was cleaned properly every two days. I was responsible for the restaurant to be clean and presentable for the next staff the next day locking up the restaurant up on leaving and counting the end of night deposit and combining the end of night deposit with the day deposit and I was responsible for taking the deposits to the bank drop off after I left the restaurant at night. After my parents made the decision of having no choice but to sell the restaurant in 2005 I still continued to leave a legacy by continuing to work at the restaurant with the new owners up until the new owners announced that because they felt that they weren't bringing in enough money with the restaurant as they assumed was going to happen upon buying the restaurant, that new owners made the decision to close permanently and not sell the restaurant to another person in 2008. Once I heard of the permanent closure I properly put in my two weeks and focused on my dream career which was caregiving which was put on hold temporarily to help my parents out in the restaurant. When I had to opportunity to finally pursue my dreams of care giving that's exactly what I did
