I am a freshman at Carroll College in Helena, Montana, trying to get into the nursing program. Originally from Seattle, I moved to Bozeman, Montana, with my family in 2016, as my mom is a Montana native. I love learning, which is why I chose to attend Carroll; Carroll offers many enriching classes, such as my Philosophy in Love course, which will explore the relationship between love and reason, the notion of the self, and more. I'm very excited to take this course. Outside of school, I take pride in my self-improvement efforts, such as completing (and paying for half of) the Experiment program mentioned below. I am eager to continue growing both academically and personally, and I look forward to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead as I further explore my passions for learning and self-improvement.
Canadian Adventure Camp is a traditional co-ed summer camp located on a private island in the wilderness lakes region of Lake Temagami, about eight hours north of Toronto, Canada. During my month-long stay, I was in a leadership program that taught effective leadership and life skills, including how to make SMART goals. When I wasn't learning these skills, I spent time performing all kinds of watersports, such as wakeboarding, slalom water skiing, wake surfing, canoeing, kayaking, and much more!
