Summary

I'm trilled with this unique opportunity that finally I can be recognized for the hard work and dedication during my 30 year career with Bank of Valletta. On the other hand I never apply for a role which I'm not prepared for. During the last years I have gained the expected experience which is much needed in this important role.

Since promoted in a Managerial role I was entrusted to manage Branches on my own in the role of Manager Satelite branches. The scope was to prepare myself for the next step, the role of a Branch Manager.

Apart from the Bank, I was also appointed in high level positions in State owned companies.


Director ARMS ltd between 2013 and 2016 where I was directly responsible to direct the credit control functions.


Director ENEMED Ltd between 2016 and 2018.


I was also chosen after a shortlisting exercise for the ' Leader for Tomorrow ' program which gave me a higher level insight of what is expected in a leading role for the next generations. As a proud BOV employee I look forward to be given this opportunity to lead a team in next decade of big changes. Banking will evolve in another dimension with digitalization and innovation through artificial intelligence. The Bank needs a good leader to embrace and promote these changes. Yes. I'm ready for all this.

Since I was promoted in a Managerial role since September 2018 I was entrusted to Manage and take decisions as if I actually was the Branch Manager At Marsaskala branch at that time Branch Manager responsibilities were split between Zabbar and M'Scala so most of time I had to decide as if was managing the branch on my own After M'Scala I was entrusted to Manager Cospicua on my own

In April 2023 I was entrusted to Manage a larger branch - Birzebbugia which forms part of the Zejtun Area which has given a proven experience in Branch Management In the last year I have managed to turn the tide around from a loss making branch to a high level of profitability
