I was part of 'ideAzzjonisti' (Aġenzija Żgħażagħ) a program of active citizenship in the community.

A project that instigates appreciation for the cultural heritage of our country and the nurturing of young people into active citizenship within their communities. The major skills acquired include how to work in a team, organize projects, conduct research, hold interviews, and make public speeches.

I also spent time studying Spanish abroad in Madrid, Spain. This program has consisted of an intensive course of Spanish as a foreign language class and in addition, cultural activities in which Spanish has been the vehicular language, facilitating an approach to Spanish culture and its traditions, as well as historical and artistic manifestation.

Activities and cultural visits carried out:

• Historical and monumental walks
• Excursion to 'Toledo'
