Lee Stack

I have been working within the steel fabrication industry since 2001. The work involves all types of fabrication including manufacturing, fitting, repairs and maintenance. I have been part of all aspects of fabrication which also includes the use of workshop machinery, heavy plant machinery and many other different types of equipment and tools related to the trade. I have a great understanding of health and safety in the workplace. I am a qualified welder by trade and have been on many courses throughout the years to be trained on equipment, machinery and procedures related to the industry and have been able to work within airports all over the UK. I am used to working locally on site and away from home. I have also spent many years working night shifts. Teamwork is very important to me, but I am also capable to work alone, being independently responsible and competent to make decisions if needed. I've taken on supervision and management roles over the years and have been given the responsibility to run and oversee, many jobs, installations, projects and now running of departments. Also being responsible for the safety and welfare of colleges, staff, residents and other contractors. My profession has grown into multiple trades and skills through the years and is not limited to just one. This has helped me expanded my experience, knowledge and skillset. I am always willing to learn new skills and strongly believe in helping others.
