  • Propose and be responsible for any Credit Stream related customisations/releases required to the system as well as drawing up Requirements Specification Documents for Oracle and reviewing Functional Specification Documents with respect to new requirements.
  • Lead the preparation of and/or the review of test scenarios and test cases for the various testing phases.
  • Lead testing of all the deliverables and communicate effectively with the vendor to ensure resolution of issues/enhancements in a timely manner.
  • Identifying and handling any system failures/bugs with the vendor to ensure that issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Analyse processes and lead the preparation of the documentation for Credit related process maps as well as other documentation.
  • Lead Data Migration of the Credit related Portfolios, including drawing up the data migration requirements, performing source system data analysis and target data mapping, conducting manual reconciliations of static/transaction data from one core system to another, as well as reviewing gaps and proposing solutions for data migration.

  • In liaison with IT and various credit related units, was involved in the Business Requirements gathering phase for the issuance of an RFP to vendors for a Credit system.
  • Assisting the Senior Credit Portfolio Manager in other ad hoc projects amongst of which the Asset Quality Review, the launching of risk sharing instruments and the implementation of new regulations such as the Central Credit Register.
  • Handling and providing within deadline, regular reporting needed for COREP, FINREP and other regulatory reporting.
  • Handling ad hoc reporting requested by local regulators such as the Central Bank, Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) and Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (MCCAA).
  • Preparing management reporting that feed into the Credit Portfolio Reports and the Credit Business Plan.
  • Handling internal reporting requests by customer facing units within the Bank that help in improving customer arrears as well as providing Branch Network with regular reporting that fed into the KRAs of the branches.
