  • Responsible for all airworthiness related topics for aircrafts that are CAMO managed by TAG Aviation Malta. This covered 9H- and HB- aircraft across various types (Dassault / Bombardier / Gulfstream / Embraer).
  • Liaising with the relevant Aviation Authorities on AMPs drafted, RIEs and other technical documentation such as Certificate of Registrations/Airworthiness etc..
  • Review Technical Records and Aircraft Technical Log books for compliance confirmation with EASA/TAG procedures.
  • Analyze ADs/SBs for fleet effectivity and monitor correct tracking on the Maintenance Software.
  • Review and update department policies as needed to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Managing and monitoring the Technical Services and Fleet Managers (Maintrol) Teams.
  • Manage the departmental Safety Management System and where necessary, take action on Occurrence Reports, Identified Hazards or possible Continuous Improvements.

Forming part of the Sum Aviation Group, as a CAMO Engineer for Part-M Aviation Ireland,my main deliverables were the below:

  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance,the application of airworthiness directives,the replacement of life-limited parts and time-controlled parts, and component inspection to ensure the work is carried out properly;
  • Prepare current status of Engine/Airframe/Component Life Limitations in accordance with the approved maintenance data;
  • Prepare the current status of Engine/Airframe/Appliance Service Bulletins /Airworthiness Directives as required by the approved maintenance programme;
  • Ensure that Maintenance Instructions are amended correctly and to the latest issue;
  • Day to day running of the maintenance management including preparing reliability programme reports as required;
  • Comprehensive assessment all Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and all other technical documentation applicable to customer aircraft;
  • Produce Engineering Orders or work instructions/scopes to accomplish the recommended courses of action for the technical documents assessed by the team.

On-Site Planning Engineer

During my experience as an OSP with Lufthansa Technik, the main deliverables included:

  • Deputize the Head of Department during LBA audits and Head of Department meetings.
  • Represent and devise inter-department improvements to the CEO every quarter.
  • Ensuring that customer's "Work Specification"identified in accordance with the relevant IQ MOVE processes is fully reflected in the Bill of Work raised for a specific project;
  • Evaluating SB's and AD's whilst coordinating accordingly upon identification of aircraft effectivity;
  • Issuing a load plan in terms of man-hour targets and job cards closure for the project;
  • Defining Routine Access as per Customer's Maintenance Program and the associated AMM;
  • Issuing a milestone plan based on milestones reached per day and also in Gantt Chart format;
  • After aircraft input I was in charge in monitoring the progress against the milestone plan (by also monitoring the critical findings) in liaison with the line leader and highlighting areas of concern to the management. As an OSP I was the owner in setting up recovery plans should there have been critical findings that would impact the TAT.


During the layover, as a Job-Card Engineer, I was in charge of:

  • Creating and/or modifying job cards that accurately reflect the requirements and/or intent of approved maintenance programs and in accordance with the relevant procedures specified in the LHT WD Quality Management System;
  • Creating and updating Routine Task Cards in SAP and m/jobcard,reflecting the customer requirements correctly;
  • Raising/Cancelling defect Job Cards for Incoming Open Items.
