I am a dedicated and compassionate early years educator with hands-on experience supporting children's development, learning, and wellbeing across a variety of care and educational settings. Throughout my academic journey and work placements, I have developed strong skills in providing child-centred care, emotional support, and engaging learning experiences. I have worked with children of diverse needs, including those with autism and anxiety, and used inclusive approaches such as the emergent curriculum to support their individual growth. I bring a calm and nurturing presence, work well in a team, and am passionate about creating safe, supportive environments where children can thrive.
During my time at Bee Smart Summer School, I worked as a kindergarten class educator, where I was responsible for caring for the children’s well-being, including attending to their personal needs such as changing. I also planned and created fun, hands-on, and engaging activities that supported their learning and development in a playful environment. My role involved ensuring the children felt safe, loved, and encouraged to explore, learn, and express themselves every day.
