  • In this role, I have crotcheted over a hundred socks for mothers who have recently given birth, with varying shoe sizes from US size 4 to 10
  • I obtained yarn from my local grocery and yarn store and would crotchet the socks when I was done with work for the day and during the weekends
  • Once I was done crocheting the socks, I took them to the mother-baby floor to give to the nurses or the team lead to pass along to the patients
  • The responses from the nurses was very empowering and motivating
  • I started this initiative as a way to use one of my hobbies to bring happiness, care, and warmth to mothers
  • I wanted mothers to feel cared for and special, it's cold in Montana so a pair of free socks is well received
  • I have expanded this business to reach the homeless community in Montana
  • Recently, I have made infinity scarves and hats to help the homeless population target the harsh winters!
