
Dr Rachael Scicluna is a globally recognised applied urban anthropologist and senior housing policy consultant with over 15 years advising governments, the EU, and the United Nations on housing, urban resilience, and community-led design across Europe and Australia. As Chairperson of the Guardian for Future Generations, she ensures policy alignment with intergenerational equity, climate resilience, and the lived realities of diverse communities. She transforms complex qualitative research into actionable, equitable urban strategies using ethnographic fieldwork, participatory methods, contextual analysis, and systems thinking, ensuring projects are culturally grounded and designed to live for generations.
