  • At Amex I worked with Australia and New Zealand card members. This meant learning their terms and how they operate different than us in the states. I would help with payments, balances, disputes, fees and directing the cardmember to the correct department. In this position it was important to make sure the card member felt valued as well as to get them more involved with their card benefits and rewards.

I take pride in my work. I will always set goals and try to exceed those goals. I truly believe that in order to succeed we need to keep growing by pushing ourselves and educating ourselves. When working in a team environment, I make sure to help out my peers the best that I can. Because if they fail, I fail. I’m great with time management and making sure that if something needs to get done and I have a long list of things to do, to prioritize to ensure everything is completed when it needs to be. I’m a fun loving person who is excited to meet new people and help others anyway I can. One of the most important things that I’ve learned throughout my working career so far is that I have maybe only a few moments to make a good impression with someone. Whether that person is in a good or bad mood, I want to make sure that by the time I’m done with them they are leaving happy and wanting to come back for more business. I’m very patient and understanding when a customer is upset, which helps me to evaluate the situation at hand and to correct it in the fastest and best way.
