Work History

Patient Care Tech - Surgical Floor

Bozeman Deaconess Hospital
07.2023 - Current
  • I am a member of the patient care support team on the Surgical floor. My duties often include accompanying patients that are a danger to themselves or others; supporting diagnostic procedures; assisting with nursing treatments, patient charting, and patient instruction. I also have experience on other in-patient units that employ different protocols and expectations.
  • Assisted in rapid responses when a patient required immediate intervention or escalation of care levels.
  • Educated patients about post-surgical or contagious disease/infection precautions while closely monitoring them for any adverse reactions or declines in vitals.
  • Improved patient outcomes by providing high-quality care and observing surgical patients throughout their recovery.
  • Promoted teamwork amongst fellow staff members through effective communication and collaboration.

Biological Technician

Turner Enterprises Management
06.2024 - 08.2024
  • The project specialized in black tailed prairie dog conservation and plague mitigation. In a lab in Bozeman, we produced baits made of various baking adhesives, peanut butter, and the active flea-killing-agent, fipronil. In August, I participated in the field work located in South Dakota.
  • In the field, I safely and efficiently operated ATVs to deposit fipronil grain at individual borrows in several colonies.
  • Alongside a small team, I fostered a positive working environment in and out of the lab by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • I was hired late into the project and acted as an extra set of hands, but I consistently delivered high-quality work under tight deadlines while following strict project budgets.

Short Term Worker – Parks Division Laborer

City of Bozeman
06.2022 - 08.2022
  • I was part of the Parks Division team that maintained the condition of the parks and trails around town, by landscaping and repairing minor facility needs.
