My dissertation focused on the title of Youth Work as a function of Human Resource Management in an organisation. In 1998 youth work was still quite a novel idea and restricted to youth centres and the like, and my research explored how it could meet the needs of the young people (which constituted a third of the population) employed at Bank of Valletta where I was working at the time.
