I am a highly motivated and passionate aspiring primary school teacher with experience working in multiple schools, supporting children through engaging activities and learning experiences. I hold O-levels, A-levels, and a degree, and I am currently in the final stages of completing my Master’s in Education. My passion for teaching began at a young age and has grown stronger throughout my years of study and practice, where I have developed a deep understanding and love for the profession. I am dedicated, organised, and committed to creating meaningful learning experiences for every child. I am excited to begin my journey as a full-time primary teacher, a career I have been working towards with enthusiasm and determination.
I worked as a part time salesperson at the Model Shop during all my studies. I worked mostly on the weekends, Easter/Christmas holidays and every summer.
During my time there, I acquired communication skills and interpersonal skills and also learnt how to work as a team.
This summer, I was again a class leader.
The class I had was 13-14 year olds, which was a different experience.
I worked with another educator.
We used to go out on outing every week, like abseiling, swimming, beach day etc. We would supervise the students mostly.
During this summer, I was in charge of twenty students, ages 9-10.
I worked with another educator.
We organised activities for the children including cooking, crafts and water play.
We had outing weekly, where we supervised the children and joined when we could!
This summer, I had to lead the class myself. I planned activities for the children, ages 8-9.
We also went out on outings weekly, where I had to supervise the children.
I also had a teacher assistant and we worked very well together. We also coordinated last day dance with the children.
During this summer, I worked along two teachers and we had a class of early years.
We planned activities together and made sure the children were safe and having fun.
We included indoor and outdoor play. During this time, i experienced the classroom for the first time with young children, and learnt a lot about building a relationship with your colleagues and the children.
