  • I have been responsible for overseeing the development of 14 different projects of an educational, empowerment, psychosocial, social-care nature. I was responsible from development of concept and project proposal which includes the research and related costings, the funding strategy, the engagement of different partners and collaborators and the overseeing of the actual implementation of the project. All projects had a corporate social responsibility dimension and tackled different particular challenges.
  • The work on the projects got me in touch with numerous stakeholders and their work, including Government Agencies and NGOs and has allowed me to gain experience in the fields of mental health and well-being (including counselling/psychotherapy and mental health, community and residential services), disability, youth empowerment and participation (including youth and community work) and non-formal education.
  • This work included managing individuals and professionals coming from different entities and ensuring proper service-related standards were in place.
  • My role also involved financial responsibilities including the budgeting of all projects of the foundation, drafting of sponsorship/collaboration agreements and human resources responsibilities of forty employed personnel including recruitment and training, staff supervision and support and performance management.
  • I was also the secretary to the Board of Administrators and responsible for the implementation of administrative and strategic decisions taken at Board level. I was also responsible to work on the legal and administrative requirements to convert the Trust to a Foundation and the enrolment of the Foundation as a Voluntary Organisation.
