Accomplishments

  • Started Sport at age 7 and got my first National Record at the age of 13
  • Competed at various events including the FINA World Junior Championships, World Swimming Championships, World Short Course Swimming Championships, European Swimming Championships, European Short Course Swimming Championships, COJI Games, Games of the Small States of Europe (Montenegro 2019 and Malta 2023), COMEN Mediterranean Swimming Cup, European Youth Olympic Festival in Azerbaijan and was the flag bearer for Malta.
  • Recognized by the Maltese Olympic Committee included in the Youth Elite Athlete Scheme.
  • Recognized for my achievements by the Aquatic Sports Association, SportMalta and the Maltese Olympic Committee in their annual awards since 2018.
  • In December 2020, achieved an Olympic 'B' qualifying time for Tokyo 2020, first for a Maltese swimmer.
  • In 2021 qualified for the European Aquatic Championships and European Junior Swimming Championships. In the latter, I was the first Maltese swimmer to qualify in the heats and proceed to the final of the 1500m event.
  • Highest medalled individual swimmer that competed in GSSE Malta 2023.
  • Youngest ever swimmer to form part of the Maltese Contingent and compete at 2 Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024).
  • Flag bearer for the Maltese Contingent in Paris 2024.
