Logistics (Imports):
Managing all inbound shipments to the distribution center. Collaborating with the Shipper, Customs Malta, transportation providers, and internal stakeholders.
Trade Finance / Client relations:
Ensuring clients passed onboarding process and the necessary Financial coverage is available, before arranging an export shipment. Assist in the verification of trade finance documentation (such as Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, or SBLCs) or follow up for payment if terms are prepaid. Liaising with banks, financial institutions, and other parties involved in trade finance transactions.
Credit Control:
Monitoring customer payments, chasing overdue invoices and resolving payment discrepancies.
Administration:
Implement supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Handling routine administrative, financial, and logistical duties required within my role. Proficient knowledge and experience in utilizing ERP system, particularly Dynamics.
Procurement :
Responsible for the activities as part of the SCM function. Mainly sourcing of products and services,
identify cost saving opportunities, negotiate, generate contracts and manage delivery as required by the
organization (to meet delivery targets and deadlines).
Logistics:
Retain full awareness of vendor performance/lead times & actively seek necessary logistical
solutions to deliver on time. Liaise with government authorities, shipping agents, haulers in the
execution of all Import/Export formalities.
Administration:
Validate import duties, taxes and shipping Invoices, check receipts/Invoices for supplies and services
and escalate any discrepancies.
Reporting:
Produce and distribute procurement and delivery reports, conducts/coordinates supplier follow up.
Continuously plan, monitor, and maintain the utilization of all manpower resources to provide an
ongoing cost effective service through improving productivity.
