  • I currently work in the forestry division. I am trained in diverse pieces of equipment and useful attachments to either clear for ski runs, house sites or selective cutting to promote healthy forests. The equipment I run here is mostly excavators and ground of mastication machines.
  • Provided assistance on the site side of the company. The equipment that I operate for the site side consists of dozers, excavators, loaders, skid steers, and haul trucks.
  • Moved equipment between job locations using truck and trailer.

  • I worked for Sime building roads and parking lots for the first 4 years. During that time I became proficient in operating dozer, skid steer, roller, water truck, motor grader, scraper and loader. This is also when I learned to shoot grade and run GPS. Then for 2 years after that I dug foundations and for the last four years at Sime, I was the operator of an excavator on a pipe crew. While working on the pipe crew, I would operate and be responsible for an excavator, dozer, and compactor. Periodically I would dig main line and services, where I would have people in the trench and be digging around live utilities when it was needed. Off and on for that 10 years I would also move mass dirt for Sime as well as help TMC in their pits. While working for Sime, I was engaged in a safety committee multiple times. We would also go through CPR / first aid training once a year.
