An energetic and driven student at the University of Colorado, with a passion for communication, working with others, public relations, business, and a strong work ethic, I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge in a professional setting. I thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy engaging with diverse groups of people. My outgoing and friendly nature enables me to build strong relationships and effectively communicate with others. I am prepared to take on new responsibilities and strive for success in all endeavors.
Teaching at CorePower Yoga has helped me grow in so many ways. I've gotten way more comfortable speaking in front of groups and leading a room with confidence and calm energy. It's taught me how to connect with people, stay present, and adjust in the moment based on how the class is feeling. I've also learned to manage my time, stay organized, and get creative with sequencing and playlists.
This summer, I worked at 38 Central in Whitefish, Montana, serving ice cream and helping out at the food truck–style outdoor location during the busy tourist season. My days were spent scooping ice cream, taking orders, and chatting with visitors from all over the country while keeping the area clean and organized. The fast-paced environment taught me how to stay efficient and friendly even during rush hours, and I enjoyed being part of a team that created a fun, welcoming atmosphere for both locals and travelers. Working outdoors in the heart of Whitefish gave me a chance to experience the community’s lively summer energy and develop strong customer service and teamwork skills.
During my time as a hostess at Whitefish Lake Lodge, a vibrant tiki bar on the lake in Whitefish, Montana, I skillfully navigated challenging situations while maintaining a calm and efficient flow for the restaurant. My leadership and problem-solving ensured guests had a seamless dining experience in this beloved hometown spot. As a host, I gained better time management, interpersonal, communicational, and quick problem-solving skills.
As a Camp Counselor at Iron Horse Golf Club, I had the privilege of orchestrating a range of exciting experiences that transcended the boundaries of traditional summer camps. From taking the campers to Glacier Park to raft, and helping them with their golf swing, these campers were guided through a diverse range of activities that fostered both skill development and unforgettable memories. This job allowed me to gain better communication skills, leadership, patience, and organizational skills which I will take into my next work space.
During my time at Boudoir Bar Café, I successfully fulfilled the roles of food preparation and waitstaff. As a member of the food prep team, I ensured that all ingredients were prepared to the cafe's exacting standards, contributing to the quality and consistency of the dishes served. Additionally, as a waitstaff, I provided attentive and courteous service to customers, accurately recording their orders and preferences to ensure a personalized dining experience. My ability to multitask and prioritize tasks allowed me to efficiently handle peak dining periods while maintaining a high level of service. This job gave me customer service skills and enhanced my ability to communicate effectively with others.
Having dedicated many years to childcare, I've had the privilege of nurturing and supporting children across a diverse spectrum of ages and backgrounds. Through countless interactions and shared experiences, I've gained a deep understanding of children's needs and the huge impact that positive caregiving can have on their growth and development. My time in childcare has equipped me with a plethora of vital skills, such as responsibility, effective communication, adaptability, flexibility, problem-solving prowess, empathy, and patience. These competencies form a strong foundation that I am poised to carry forward into my future career endeavors
