• Was part of the core 3-person team that took over the Operations management at Valletta Gateway Terminals when Portek and Tumas Group took the running of the cargo operations at Valletta harbor from the Malta Cargo Handling.
• In only 24 months, converted an inefficient and loss-making port into an effective and efficient operation, handling over ten times the amount of cargo it used to handle before, including the introduction of Container operations by Gantry for the first time in the Valletta harbor.
• Whilst residing in the UK, was awarded a National Award for volunteer service provided to the community in the form of assistance to the homeless people in the Town of Burnley in 2022 particularly during the Covid Pandemic
• Appointed as Commissioner for the general Administration of The Malta Scout Association between 2004 and 2007. Served as Leader in the Tarxien Group for over 15 years and oversaw the growth from a small group of children to one of the biggest and most successful Scout groups on the Island
